Nothing else has changed...I still have an uncontrolled obsession with buying and riding any bike that sparks my interest. Looking at this titanium Strong Frame the first time made my spine tingle and as much as I tried to resist buying it, my internal weakness for such beauty was stronger (a true internal paradox). For some reason I "needed" this bike and eventually I lost all control...I'm not sure how it happened but the frame ended up on my doorstep. Hmmm...???

So far the "test" rides on the new Strong Frame have kept my spine tingling and makes me smile plenty. I have many heavenly plans for this bike in the future, but those plans are stuck in the abyss (my head) for now.
I have not seen any more falling cows lately (and I've been keepin and eye directed upward where ever I ride), but I've run across plenty of these deadly little dudes - young rattle snakes!!! They don't rattle or warn you in any way, in-fact they often advance towards your warm body (unlike an adult rattler). This one is all of 6-inches and he wanted to visit...

Nice looking bike Eric.....I want to get a TI bike at some point. How do the ride qualities vary between the strong and the GF superfly?
Enjoy!

The Fisher Superfly and the Strong are definitely 2 different bikes...the Superfly is more of a race oriented machine whereas I got the Strong for endurance adventures and maybe some bike packing. The Strong provides a more upright position (if I want) yet it is very light and provides a super nice titanium ride. Plus the Strong can be run SS or geared. In comparison the Superfly is much stiffer, which is not too noticeable with a quality seatpost (one that flexes slightly).
Cool.....the two bikes in the same stable sounds like a great combo then. Would like to get out and do a SS hundy with you sometime this summer.

I've already done 4-SS hundies plus many, many 60-90 mile SS rides. I welcome company anytime, but my rides are typically MWF since I always work TH & F. Thinking of doing the Magruder Corridor late July or some time in Aug...it will be a multi-day trip.
Sandbagger!
Not Sandbagging yet...I still have a pinched nerve in my upper back that is keeping me in check. Couldn't even ride for over a month...just hoping I can continue riding.
Hi, I came across your site and wasn’t able to get an email address to contact you about some broken links on your site. Please email me back and I would be happy to point them out to you.
Thanks!
